HAND OF THE LAW – Police section (12 August 2011)
We have an exciting new addition to the Mutare Bulletin; the long awaited Police section. We are so excited that our agents of law enforcement have agreed to take time out of their busy schedules to partner with council in answering public questions and giving the public necessary information for their safety. In this edition we will be providing the public with the Police Hotline number.

Police in Mutare Central District are appealing to members of the public to use the following Police Hotlines.

Landlines 020 63380, 020 63145 and 020 3011. These numbers cover ZRP Mutare Central, Sakubva and Dangamvura respectfully. However any member of the public can also use these Hotlines.

The Hotline numbers are meant to be used mostly in response to the following reports:-

  1. Cases that require URGENT Police reaction
  2. Report cases where evidence may be lost through delay
  3. Report Intruders, Burglars or any suspicious movements
  4. To alert the police of any criminals manifesting intentions to commit crimes
  5. Inform police on the whereabouts of “WANTED PERSON(S)”
  6. Alert the police of any incitements, attempts and conspiracy to commit crimes
  7. To alert the Police of any matters which may assist the Police enhance Detection and Investigation of a crime(s).

Please take note that apart from the above hotline numbers, members of the public should also use the following charge office telephone numbers:-

Landlines 020 64717 and 020 30240, for ZRP Sakubva and Dangamvura respectfully.
